The housewife and mother-of-three served the “meal” to her husband, identified as Okello Ocekilec, with charcoal after he returned home drunk.

Alison-Madueke’s Sister Kidnapped In Port Harcourt

 

According to reports, unidentified assailants have kidnapped the sister of the Nigerian Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.

The Rivers State Police command has confirmed the abduction of Osio Agama, which reportedly occurred in Port Harcourt on the night of Thursday, October 23.

Police spokesperson in the state, Ahmad Mohammad, told PM News via telephone that Ms Agama had indeed been abducted while returning home from church.

No official statement has been issued by the minister as regards the incident.

Governor Declares October 27 Public Holiday

Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola has declared Monday, October 27th, as a public holiday to commemorate the Islamic New Year (Hijrah 1436).

The announcement was made on Tuesday, October 21, by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Regional Integration and Special Duties, Adelowo Adewumi on behalf of the governor.

A statement to that effect reads:

“The public holiday is to allow Muslim faithful to fully observe the celebration of the Islamic new year.

“The public holiday is in line with the policy thrust of the present administration which provides equal platforms for all religions to promote communal peace and progress.’’

The state government recently made a similar declaration to enable practitioners of traditional beliefs to celebrate Isese Day on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

 Doctors in a Colombian hospital were shocked when they found potato roots germinating in the private parts of a 22-year-old who used the vegetable as a form of birth control contraceptives.

The lady, from the central Colombian town of Honda, confessed that it was her mother who advised her to use potatoes as contraceptives to avoid getting pregnant, went to hospital complaining of abdominal pains and was examined. Shocked medical personnel however discovered potato roots growing out of the woman's vagina.

Police Officers Caught Cuddling Get Fired

Two Tanzanian traffic police, Asumba Mwasumbi and Veronica Mdeme, whose kissing photos became viral after it found its way to the Internet have been relieved of their jobs. A third officer, Fadhiri Linga, who helped them take the offending photos with his phone, was also fired for encouraging immorality while on duty.

The photo shows two police officers, a male and a female in full uniform, kissing in public.

The officers were on duty when the decided to get some loving and have their friend take a keep sake for them.

The third officer who uploaded the photo online has also been disciplined and is having loads of hate messages from friends and the family of the dismissed cops since it was his indiscretion that led to Asumba and Veronica getting the boot, while the scandal has sparked off social media frenzy in the country.

Nigerian 'Juju Pimp' Jailed In UK

A 24-year-old Nigerian woman has been convicted for sex trafficking after she forced 2 women into prostitution by threatening them with juju.

Lizzy Idahosa took the women to a shrine in Nigeria where they swore oaths, ate concoctions and were told they would run mad if they disobeyed their pimp.

The victims were then reportedly forced to have sex with 7-8 men a day.

One of them was eventually discovered to be a victim of sex trafficking and this led to Idahosa's arrest.

Her lover and partner in crime, Jackson Omoruyi was convicted on charges of money laundering.
